Agreement

By creating a Edifice account or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Service description

Edifice provides cloud-hosted school management software, including student information, fees, attendance, admissions, and related features. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Accounts & responsibilities

• You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials
• You must provide accurate registration information
• You are responsible for student data entered into your tenant
• You must comply with applicable education and data protection laws

Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans (Starter and Professional) are billed monthly. Prices are listed on our Pricing page. Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. Payments are processed via M-Pesa through our payment partner.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the platform, or use Edifice for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Intellectual property

Edifice retains all rights to the platform, branding, and software. You retain ownership of your business data. You grant us a limited license to host and process your data solely to provide the service.

Limitation of liability

Edifice is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to fees paid in the twelve months preceding a claim.

Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may terminate accounts for material breach or non-payment. Upon termination, you may request export of your data subject to our data retention policies.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
